Perseverance

Wednesday Wisdom~ It might appear as though Tastē Tuesday and become Tastē Thursday! That was not supposed to be the case this week. Unfortunately, the two recipes I made with the intent of sharing did not turn out the way I wanted them to. Thankfully, they were edible and have been enjoyed, but I only share recipes with you that have that something special! In the past week, I have worked on 7 new recipes. Two are main dishes that will eventually make their way onto Tastē Tuesday, but I had a table of hungry men to feed so pausing for pictures was not an option. One was a definite don't bother, won't make again experiment. One needs some help but more than just tinkering, one was yummy but nothing special, and two that I made today were relish ..and I got pics! So, you are in luck for tomorrow's Tastē Thursday. What came to mind after being disappointed with the two recipes I originally hoped to share and then being rewarded with a great dinner and dessert tonight was perseverance!  It is something that we need to learn as a little person working on tying our shoes or learning to read, and a lesson we continually have to remind ourselves as big people. Most of the time, the things worth doing, learning, and experiencing aren't those that come on our first attempts.
