Monday Moments~ Just a quick funny to start off the week! Don't we all have at least one picture from our childhood that makes us wonder either what we were thinking or what our parents were thinking? A haircut gone awry, following the fashion of the day just a little too well...it is hidden in some old photo album somewhere, don't deny it. I must admit that I subject my children to a certain amount of things to suit my whims or fancies though I try to keep it at an extreme minimum. Being a mother of 3 boys, they tend to help their own cause in that respect. At times I marvel at what mommies do to their children, good-hearted I'm sure, and laugh knowing the comments these actions will elicit from their children once they reach their twenties! I stumbled across this picture; I don't recall how. Though the little guy looks as though he is having fun, a couple thoughts ran across my mind. A) some mom (or dad) was desperate crazy for a picture...she got it! And B) who has time to make watermelon armor and then bathe the child wearing watermelon armor all in one afternoon?
Though cutting up fruit for clothing purposes (and the thought of actually wearing watermelon underwear) is a bit far fetched for me, I probably don't have much room to judge. A fondness for motorcycles and a knowledge of Pinterest led to the use my own child for photography purposes. Hopefully in both of our cases, these children will someday look back and say, "Awesome picture Mom!"...not with a horrified look on their face.
